Tour the Botanical Gardens

Thousands of rare and unusual plants from around the world flourish here. The many tall and impressive palm trees were planted from seeds consciously collected from around the world more than a quarter century ago. Over time, Gardenland has flourished into one of the most diverse palm gardens on the island of Maui.

Touring the gardens is by appointment and the visitor fee is $5 per person per visit. Group rates available. Please schedule in advance.

Visitors enjoy a self-guided educational tour along grassy pathways winding through the gardens. Through Gardenland's emphasis on Ag-tourism, visitors can learn about the remarkable agricultural biodiversity of the rich Hana Coast bioregion.

Garden Walkways

Botanical signs identify over 150 specimens of palm trees, exotic plants and fruit trees, showing common name, scientific name and country of origin. Layout.

Citrus and tropical fruit trees: avocado, banana, breadfruit, hawaiian coconut, samoan coconut, ruby red grapefruit, pink grapefruit, white grapefruit, giant guava, strawberry guava, meyers lemon, tahitian lime, mango, trovita orange, washington navel orange, papaya, passion fruit, pineapple, pomegranate, pomelo, starfruit, tangerine, tangelo. Three paths merge under the banyan trees and wander the woods.
